Hi! I’m Lia!

I am an UX/UI Designer based in Berlin with a background in architecture and e-commerce marketplaces.
 

Architecture shaped how I work and communicate today. It taught me to think in systems, designing from the big picture down to the details. It gave me strong design ownership and a mindset that helps turn complex challenges into clear, scalable experiences. It also sharpened how I communicate across different audiences with empathy, essential to incorporate feedback, align on vision, and guide everyone toward the same goal.

Leaf was my first experience in digital product design. As a startup, it taught me to move fast, multitask, and prioritize while balancing speed, quality, and cost of execution.

​

At Home24, I designed at scale within agile and lean environments. Using the Double Diamond framework, I collaborated closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data, and Research teams to improve clarity, usability, and conversion. Our work is recognised by users through KPI improvements of up to 6% or 10%, and by Baymard with an award for mobile experience.

My work spans the full design process, from strategy and discovery to delivery, including research, ideation, prototyping, specifications, QA, and design system updates. AI currently supports my work- flows and improves my speed as a partner in crime.

I believe feedback is a cornerstone of great products that serve both people and business needs, and I thrive in environments where the user is at the centre of decision-making.
